So those who know me personally know I am a clean freak, I have been addicted to lysol wipes since the first time i used them. BUT I am also cheap, and since lysol wipe coupons don't come around to often, I make my own!! It doesn't hardly cost a thing, and they work JUST as good...plus they smell good too.
First you start off with a roll of paper towels
Cut it in half!!
Youll need a container with a lid tall enough to hold them
(this came in a IKEA set my mom got me a few years ago)
(thanks ma)
SIDE NOTE you'll need to cut a large X in the lid to pull the wipes through so make sure its not super thick plastic!
You will also need some sort of cleaning solution,
I use this Mr.clean one because it smells awesome and his name is MR.CLEAN obviously its a good cleaner =)
Put the paper towels into the container
pour cleaning solution slowly all around
seriously all around get all the towels wet
then carefully pull out the cardboard part in the center of the towels
It helps if the roll is wet too!
Cut it do whatever you gotta do to get it out.
BUT DO IT EASILY!
then pull the towel closest to the middle out
put the lid on and lead it through the X hole you cut!
Sometimes they get a little dried out so i just add a bit more solution to them
One bottle of solution has lasted me over 4 times
and a thing of wipes lasts about a 2 weeks!
YOU NEED-
1 roll of paper towels (.30c-free with coupons)
1 container (tall enough for 1/2 roll of paper towels)
1 bottle of cleaning solution (2.00 or less with coupons)
So it works out to be about .65c a container!! Way better than $2.00+!!
